February’s Dialogue took us to new heights as we were joined by Zak Walters from Vinca Wine. Co-founder of the organic canned wine brand, Zak shared the trials and tribulations of taking Sicilian vines to festivals, supermarkets and flights across Europe. All washed down with some cans of the good stuff.
Socrates recently created a dedicated film to support the marketing of the Knightsbridge Estate, a substantial island site sandwiched between Harrods and Harvey Nicholls in London. Its role is not only to evangelise the location and plethora of hotels, restaurants and retailers but to provide key data to prospective new brands. Watch out for the impressive Afghan Hound.

We are delighted and excited by the hugely successful launch of LCH Developments’ latest project, The Pinnacle in Montego Bay, Jamaica. To include four apartment towers, the tallest in the country, the ground-breaking was accompanied by speeches from The Most Honourable Andrew Holness, Prime Minister and other significant guests. Socrates developed a film and the website went live simultaneously.
We have recently created a brand and visual language for a new and innovative investment manager, Rotation Real Estate. This has subsequently been used to inform their new website, featuring a dedicated animated film that articulates their approach and understanding of the market.
As the digital world continues to rapidly develop, our first Field Guide of the year seeks to demystify some of the most common terminology related to websites, online advertising and email marketing. While we certainly cannot answer everything, we hope it proves useful at addressing some of the rather confusing language associated with the digital age. With New Year’s resolutions in full swing, we spent January’s Dialogue learning about all things breathwork. Joined by expert, March Russell, we spent the evening learning about the science, understanding how the practice is being used within the working environment and the tips and techniques that we can all use to reduce the stress and anxieties of daily life.
Socrates are beginning the year with positive news as we have been appointed on a new commercial office development at 6 More London. Situated next to Tower Bridge and collaborating once again with St Martins Property Group, we are currently developing a new brand and positioning to inform the full campaign over the coming months.
As we hurtle towards the end of the 2023, we are celebrating the opening of a brand-new workspace. Lovingly known as ‘The Underworld’ and situated next to our current studio, the new area provides additional collaborative working space, a purpose-built boardroom and quiet working zones. It is already proving popular.
The Digital team have recently welcomed the profoundly impressive intern, Ellie Downer. Ellie has proven a keen eye for research, supporting the team in identifying new trends and informing knowledge transfer throughout the Company.
We welcome a new face this month as Oli Bishop joins as a Project Coordinator. Working closely with Director, Oliver Dadak, Oli will closely collaborate with our strategy and studio teams across many of our commercial branding projects.
As a festive thank you to the team, December’s Dialogue celebrated all things South American wine. Joined by Susan Harper from Brinkley’s Wines, we spent the evening broadening our palettes and opinions across Chile, Argentina and lesser known areas including Patagonia. As ever, thank you to Susan for sharing her knowledge.
Socrates are delighted to have been appointed by CapitaLand on the long-established lake focused project, Arlington Business Park. The initial brief entails the evolution of the Park’s brand and website, and we look forward to working together in the coming months.
Socrates have recently published the new website for Maroto, a late-night bar and lounge set moments from London’s Oxford Street. Located beneath modern Brazilian restaurant, Bossa, the visual approach complements that of Brazil’s rich heritage and culture while encompassing the eclectic 1930s Art Deco interiors.
