Appointed by Revantage on their latest development in Birmingham, we are thrilled to be in the throes of developing a new brand and website for The Colemore Building. At the heart of Birmingham’s main business district, we have thoroughly enjoyed digging our teeth into the land of the Bull!
Lexicon was slightly different this month, with the pleasure of Duro Oye and his team presenting all things 20/20 Change. An organisation committed to youth empowerment, we heard first-hand just how important their work is. A huge thank you to the team, and in particular to Dele for sharing his experience.
We were delighted to be joined by the wonderful Sarah Ann Macklin for this month’s Dialogue. Sharing her own journey into the world of nutrition, Sarah Ann enlightened us on the inherent link between stress management and our diets. The perfect balance between science and suggestions, we have already seen a collective increase in the consumption of fish, seeds, and vegetables as a result.
Socrates were appointed by the Mercer’s Company to evolve the brand, language and marketing for a new office building in the City of London. Named The Whittington Building, after a former celebrated Mercer, the brand builds on the graphic language introduced at the earlier phases of this engaging enclave of period and contemporary buildings at the very heart of the City.
Socrates have completed an extensive naming and branding exercise for Legal & General in relation to their substantial new village on the outskirts of Horsham in Sussex. Named Mowbray, a reference to the original landowner in the mists of time, the related heraldry style symbol is informed by the original arms of the eponymous Mr Mowbray and the current district’s coat of arms.
To celebrate the launch of Panorama St Paul’s, Orion Capital Managers’ new HQ opportunity at the heart of the City of London, Socrates were tasked with the creation of an agency-wide mailer to be delivered to multiple offices across the Capital. Supporting the building’s genuine commitment to sustainability and greening, agency teams are now proud owners of individual cherry trees; encouraging us all to take care of the planet, one tree at a time.
Part of the wider campaign for Orion Capital Managers’ major office project at 81 Newgate in the City of London, we have recently developed a new brand and visual language, alongside installation of a full run of hoarding. Now named Panorama St Paul’s, the hoarding features some thirty 3-metre high giraffes lining the perimeter of what will become a 556,000 sq ft new headquarters opportunity. The animals are already putting a smile on the faces of commuters and visitors alike.
This month’s Dialogue offered us the delightful company of photographer, Hugh Gilbert. Talking all thing’s digital imaging, Hugh shared a journey around the studios and artists that he has photographed over the last 20 years. With former exhibitions at the Royal Academy of Arts, it was an honour to see first-hand just how some of our best artists operate.
With so much of the world’s focus on sustainability and the actions we must all take to avoid long-term, irreversible damage to the planet; complex terminology is now increasingly part of our day to day lives. From carbon neutral to climate positive, net zero to NABERS; our latest Field Guide seeks to articulate what these terms really mean. Whilst we recognise that language will evolve over time, we hope the glossary will aid to further our collective understanding of sustainability.
Another new addition to the team this month as we welcome the arrival of Henry Young. Henry joins as a Project Coordinator, assisting with the research and implementation of long-term strategies across national and international projects. He is already proving to be a wonderful asset.
We are delighted to have been appointed by LaSalle Investment Management on their exciting new refurbishment project at One Exchange Square in the City of London. Offering 422,000 sq ft of exceptional workspace at the heart of the newly re-landscaped Exchange Square, we look forward to developing a brand, visual language, and full suite of collateral.
We are currently in the throes of distributing our latest Field Guide on Sustainable Development Goals. Particularly unpicking the relevance of SDGs in the communications world, we hope it continues the debate of how to communicate effectively yet socially and environmentally responsibly.
We are thrilled to have been appointed by Frank Capital on their exciting new commercial development. Boasting a superb location along Pollen Street in central London, we look forward to developing a new brand and visual language in the coming months.
Delighted to have been shortlisted amongst some of the most noteworthy campaigns across the industry, it was a wonderful surprise to discover that we had in fact won at this year’s Property Marketing Awards. Achieving ‘Best Office Campaign’ for Latitude, Paris, we somewhat regretted sitting so far away from the stage! A huge thank you to GCI for the opportunity, and to the PMA organisers for a lovely evening of celebrations.
