We are delighted to have created a brand and style for the marketing of Escape Developments new collection of limited-edition luxury villas at Gibbs Beach in Barbados. The hummingbird logo and colour palette were part of the larger corporate brand solution undertaken last year.
Socrates developed a short film for the major new residential tower at London’s Canary Wharf, Aspen by Far East Consortium, that is now nearing completion. The production evangelises the variety of amenities in the local area, from padel and boating to shopping, gossiping with llamas and watching weepies on a floating cinema.
Following significant changes to the masterplan and substantial enabling works and infrastructure, Socrates worked closely with their client Ilubirin Foreshore Projects and their advisors, to launch the first completed apartments at this major new district in Lagos, Nigeria. The brief included website, social media, literature and related collateral.
Socrates has created a members club style marketing suite to showcase the newly refurbished office space at Mode in central London. Partnering with a construction team to transform the space into a premium environment in just a few weeks, including wall and ceiling finishes, lighting, the artworks and furniture, the project accompanied a colourful arrival sequence and complementary wayfinding.
Socrates has developed a name, brand and language for a new super yacht marina in Anguilla in the Caribbean. Working with Oscar & Co, Port Nimara was launched at this year’s Monaco Yacht Show and will provide a crucial and much needed option for captains in the Anguilla, St Barth’s and St Martin axis. The development also includes a 5* hotel, branded residences, shops, restaurants and a new yacht club.
Socrates has been appointed by Tishman Speyer to develop a brand and full scope of collateral for 33 Holborn, a significant new commercial development on Holborn Circus, London. Formerly the headquarters of nationwide supermarket chain, this large scale site is unique in its prominent location and amenity offering.
Following the launch of their brand, we are delighted to have worked with wine merchants, Soil & Vine, to develop a set of wine orientated film narratives and complementary social media assets. Located in London and soon to launch online, Soil & Vine offer a select range of wines, alongside tastings, courses, cellar consultancy and events.
Socrates are delighted to have been asked to assist with the first Lady Garden Foundation calendar, photographed by Lily Bertrand-Webb and art directed by Anouska Beckwith. The Lady Garden Foundation is a national women’s health charity, raising awareness and funding for the five gynaecological cancers.
Socrates are delighted to have collaborated with celebrated sculptor, David Begbie, to create our latest limited Socrates Edition ‘Avoiding Gravity’. With a focus on his idiosyncratic working environment and largely figurative sculptures, photographers Nobuyuki Taguchi and Andres Reynaga explored Begbie’s studio and his sensitive depictions of the human form. Designed by Director Mark Scott, it is an opportunity to indulge in the joys of print.
