A New Media Circus

We have recently published the full website for One Westferry Circus at the heart of London’s Canary Wharf. Inspired by the building’s striking curved façade, the website features a commissioned local area map, 360 views and animated page transitions that reflect the circular brand identity.

We are delighted to have welcomed Olivia Sykes. A Masters student from the University of Edinburgh, Olivia joins as an Assistant Project Manager specialising in the digital team. She will be particularly involved in website strategy, development and online marketing programmes.

Socrates have recently completed and begun circulating our latest Field Guide on the basics of registering Trade Marks. Ever important in the evolving consumer world, the guide seeks to demystify the complex and lengthy process, particularly when seeking protection in the UK.

Live from South Bank

We have recently published the full website for Starwood’s South Bank Central. At the heart of one of London’s most creative districts, the building comprises 58,000 sq ft of next-generation workspace, an impressive communal roof garden and exciting retail opportunity. Evangelised through a vibrant and dynamic website, the design also includes a community page, events calendar and occupier portal.

A Wonderful World

Socrates were recently commissioned by Frasers Property to develop a series of short films for their Wandsworth district of Riverside Quarter. Situated on the banks of the River Thames, London, the day-in-the-life film evangelises how the area has evolved and now offers a remarkable lifestyle marrying parks, a multitude of engaging retailers and a wide range of restaurants and street food markets.

We were delighted to be appointed to develop a new magazine for the exclusive enclave in Andalucia, Sotogrande. Highlighting the diverse attractions of polo, golf, sailing, equestrianism, the astonishing new Beach at La Reserva, the towns, cities and gastronomy of the region.

Potatoes on the Canal

Socrates have recently been appointed by global developer Lendlease, to deliver a suite of printed collateral for the final phase of their residential canalside development Potato Wharf, in central Manchester. Directed at both a local and international market, there is particular emphasis on the undoubted attractions of the Castelfield and Spinningfield districts.

We have recently launched the animated holding page for Grosvenor’s Holbein Gardens, one of London’s most sustainable office developments. Complete with the sound of birdsong, the holding page sets the tone for 28,000 sq ft of intelligent, green workspace.

The Language of Sustainability

As sustainability is ever prevalent in our daily lives, terminology relating to the environment is similarly part our of everyday language. We have recently begun circulating our latest Field Guide – a simplified glossary that seeks to demystify some of the complex, multifaceted terms associated with one of the world’s hottest topics.

Socrates are pleased to announce that our work on CARGO, a substantial office development in London’s Canary Wharf won the ‘Best Marketing Campaign: Offices and Alternative Assets’ at the Property Marketing Awards 2021. Thank you to Blackstone for the opportunity, and to the PMA organisers for pulling together a virtual ceremony despite the nightmares this entails!

Winning DNAs in Paris

Socrates are delighted that we have won two awards at the DNA Paris Design Awards 2021. The literature for Generale Continentale Investissements’ Belles Feuilles development in Paris won in the category ‘Communication Design’, while Socrates’ own Editions 2 – on the work of Brian Grimwood – won ‘Colourful Project’. Thank you to GCI for the opportunity.

We have recently launched a new brand and animated website for 150 Aldersgate in Farringdon, Central London. Re-named Verdant, the brand and language evangelises an exceptional 135,000 sq ft of green and sustainable workspace; ever important on all occupier agendas.

Reading Between the Lines

Socrates have recently launched the brand campaign and website for Campus, Reading International, Berkshire. A 375,000 sq ft development delivering wellness-led workspace, the new brand speaks to its strong focus on collaboration and sustainability, with the use of colourful illustration and animation, bringing the new offering to life.

Aspen Wins

Socrates are delighted that our brochure for Far East Consortium’s major residential tower Aspen, in Canary Wharf in London, won a Gold at the international MUSE Creative Awards 2021. To quote, “with their concepts, ideas or designs, these creatives light a fire in others to strive further, thus becoming a muse.” Fingers crossed!
