Socrates were appointed by FIDC (First Investment Development Company), a significant and innovative Nigerian real estate development and investment group, to undertake an evolution of the current corporate brand and website, as well as the marketing for one of their latest housing developments in Northern Nigeria.
The design team at Socrates has been further strengthened by the addition of Eliza Lambert who has recently joined the team led by Director Mark Scott and Eduardo Nunes. She studied at Shillington Graphic Design College, before working on a number of social media, branding and literature accounts for her own clients prior to joining Socrates.
Socrates collaborated with TWW Crew to launch a new ‘Looking For Crew’ functionality at the 2019 Monaco Yacht Show allowing the world’s superyachts access to curated shortlists of qualified candidates. The personalised service streamlines the process and provides access to TWW Crew’s full database.
Socrates were appointed by Kennedy Wilson to undertake the naming, branding and marketing for their 200,000 sq ft office development in Ditton Park, Slough. Inspiration was drawn from the architecture, landscaping, open water and focused heavily on the end-users’ experience. Wellness and happiness are central to attracting and retaining the best talent, as such this is placed at the heart of the campaign.
Further to developing branding, website and print for Dog House, TCN’s latest workspace in Reading, Socrates were appointed on its social and Google advertising launch. Translating the bold and playful identity to social media was fundamental to the strategy. With ‘curious minds’ at the heart of the brand, we developed an approach that is unexpected, inquisitive but most of all, fun.
Socrates launched Blackstone’s Cargo London, a 340,000 sq.ft office project in Canary Wharf. Cargo’s brand is derived from the area’s trade history and to launch the building, we targeted entire agency teams, delivering a substantial, branded wooden crate – complete with crowbar – direct to their office floor. The theatre of opening and discovering eclectic branded collateral, including re-usable tote bags, umbrellas and succulent plant pots, was a huge success and attracted significant social media.
Socrates were asked to develop a new brand for a substantial new mixed-use district on the lagoon in central Lagos. The project includes significant retail, residential, commercial, leisure and community content, responding to the ever increasing real estate requirements.
Socrates launched Blackstone’s 98,000 sq.ft Devon House in Central London; stunning Thameside workspace that includes vast roof-terraces to became the setting for a Cricket World Cup summer launch. With KERB based at St. Katharine Docks, we cherry-picked an eclectic selection of street food vendors to cater. An array of on-floor marketing materials and branded collateral were also on show.
Socrates were appointed by the significant and leading real estate development and investment company Générale Continentale Investissements on their new project in Rue des Belles Feuilles in the fashionable 16th in the heart of Paris. Initial work included the branding and language alongside the on-site packaging during construction.
Socrates developed a website for the newly founded investment advisory and asset management company NEO CAPITAL. Run by a global team committed to growing a well-diversified real estate portfolio, a password-protected portal provides investors with a dashboard featuring live data and a go-to resource for their portfolio performance.
An innovative and leading hosting company that manages exceptional short term rental experiences, working alongside AirBnB, appointed Socrates to develop a new name, brand and language for the company in preparation for significant anticipated growth both in the UK and internationally.
We are delighted at Socrates to have been appointed by Pontegadea on their substantial office and retail building, 100 Wood Street at the heart of the City of London. The brief includes the redesign of the brand and visual language, alongside a new website, printed and soft collateral and the on-site signage.
Socrates completed the e-commerce website for specialist and bespoke leather goods retailer, SeeJays. The company provides branded accessories for many of the major golf clubs in the UK and numerous organisations, schools and clubs.
Located on the prestigious island of Virgin Gorda in the British Virgin Islands, Nail Bay Sports Club is an exclusive racquet club featuring the poolside Sugarcane Restaurant designed by Prague-based architect Petr Kolar. Socrates have been engaged to do an initial photoshoot and club website with online booking for members to launch in May.
